villains and librarians

sent my initial email to the folks on the panels i'm moderating at wiscon! hooray! one's on villains (boo! hiss!) and the other's a chance to ask some of my favorite people in the world (that's right, librarians) any question you can think of. i think we'll have a good time.

despite having a super rough couple of days, and the sky trying to drown my village, i'm doing ok. helps a lot to think about wiscon approaching. excitement is building...

Ha! I'm so glad to hear you're modding!

Our weather was similarly dreadful, although the tornadoes happily travelled north of us. I was going crosstown on foot, however, when it was raining, hailing, snowing, blowing 35mph and also thunderstorming. Prickly.

Were all your community's roofs proof against the wildness of spring?

One Q I've always had for librarians is do they cast special protection spells for the books most vulnerable to freelance censorship -- that it, the ones with strong politics or sex or both that attract permanent borrowers?
